Summer plans 2015

This year, I have thought of some lovely plans for our little family to do over the summer, most of them will be day trips, along with some being mostly at the weekends as Mr T works in the week but could hopefully book some time off other times. Here's our wish list for what we want to do for the summer of 2015.

This was off the cards at last weekend due to the horrendous rain and my lack of welly boots! definitely next year though including some other family friendly festivals.

Camping
This weekend we're off camping in The New Forest. We haven't been since before having children so it will be a different experience but a good one i bet, we're hoping to go on lots of nature walks, horse spotting, toasting marshmallows, playing by the sea and im really looking forward to finding a nice lavender farm to grab some photos of my littles running free in one of their 1.favourite colours and 2. favourite smells!

I'm really looking forward to going here, we missed it last year as we were on holiday in West Witterings, I think the little ones will find it absolutely fascinating too! We'll hopefully have a little picnic too, lets pray for nice weather!

Exploring the Cotswolds
I am looking looking forward to visitng this beautiful place on earth once again, last time I came here was when Halle was only a couple of months old back in 2012, we visited Birdland, and grabbed fish and chips while wandering about the pretty picturesque village. this time we would also like to see the Cotswold motor museum (to see Brum!), The model village, along with the other wonderful sights to see.

Cogges Manor Farm
We've been here before and really like it, theres a brilliant wooden play park with a massive zip wire, Yve's loved it and will do more so next time as she's a huge fan of them even more! They have a lovely farm cafe too so we'll grab lunch here like we did before, they run drop in sessions for children too where they can do crafts and activities along with other for adults.

Strawberry picking
The last time we went strawberry picking was in 2013, and we can't wait to go back again. Our local strawberry farm is beautiful and only about ten minutes from from where we live. They have a little play area for the children, lovely farm shop with all the produce available and more, and a nice cafe to grab some refreshments after all the fruit picking. They use to have bouncy castles for the kids too but i'm not sure if they removed them or not. We didn't go last year as we were too busy growing our own in our back garden! but yes, we're looking forward to doing this year.

Punting
Mr T & I want to fit in a little date night going punting, this i'm really looking forward to!

Swimming
We haven't been swimming in such a long time, but we're going to find the best time for us and start going again like we use to, weekly preferably. and there's a nice pool not far from us so we want to get the bikes and bike trailer out and get more exercise that way too, plus its a lot more enjoyable than getting everyone into the car!

We will also be making the most of free activities, places to go including Sure start Children Centres, local parks, meadows and river banks and museums.  we're lucky that there are some amazing Museums 20 minutes away from our house in the centre of town. Home to world known colleges, surrounded by beautiful university parks. We recently visited Pitt rivers museum, and we do want to go back again with Daddy this time, its a fascinating place for adults not to mention children, plus - it's free! Then we'll head to the university parks for picnic, hopefully the weather is good for us!

So that in a nut shell, is our plans, or at least a little guide or what we would like to do over the summer.

(Oh and i'm super excited to be meeting a few of my blogging friends again in a few weeks for our Living Arrows meet!)
